<br />1191 <br /> <br />Colorado Emergency Operations Plan <br />SEOP - Part 1 (Basic Plan) <br /> <br />DODES 24 Hour Emergency <br />Telephone # 279-8855 <br /> <br />sibllltles listed below and any others <br />determined by the Governor (in a, <br />above) to be necessary: <br />(1) Move selected elements (Induding <br />critical documents) of the depart- <br />ment to a different location(s) <br />offering greater protection; loca- <br />tion(s) will be determined by the <br />Governor In consultation with the <br />executive director of the depart- <br />ment. <br /> <br />emergency distribution of mail to <br />relocated State Departments, of- <br />fices and Agencies. <br /> <br />(7) Ensure that vital records and Auto- <br />matic Data Processing (ADP) are <br />protected and available to support <br />the continuance of state govern- <br />ment and maintain Its financial <br />integrity; prepare and maintain an <br />alternate set of vital state docu- <br />ments. <br /> <br />(2) Provide liaison at the SEOC or other <br />locations selected by the Govemor, <br /> <br />(3) Ensure sufficient telecommunica- <br />tions are avaUable to permit state <br />and local officials to coordinate, <br />direct, and control all of their <br />government actions In accordance <br />with existing or potential conditions, <br />national requirements and differing <br />needs and locations of state <br />govemment <br /> <br />(4) In coordination with DODES, plan <br />for the relocation of the Govemor, <br />the Govemor's staff and the essen- <br />tial elements of state agencies to a <br />designated alternate Center of <br />Emergency Government; provide <br />contact with other state logistical <br />agencies and "stay behind" forces. <br /> <br />(5) Develop plans for the establishment <br />of alternate centers of work If cond~ <br />tlons require movement of state <br />agencies from established loca- <br />tions, Execute these plans or order <br />of the Govemor and ensure that suf- <br />ficient office equipment and <br />supplies are available to relocated <br />state Departments to maintain <br />operating capability. <br /> <br />(6) Establish liaison with US Postal Ser- <br />vice and prepare plans for <br /> <br />(8) Execute and coordinate the move- <br />ment of the State Agency <br />emergency staffs to their assigned <br />sites; provide emergency courier <br />service and continue essential inter- <br />departmental distribution. <br /> <br />(9) Assist local governments in the <br />development of plans for safeguard- <br />ing and movement of essential <br />records. <br /> <br />(10)Asslst the State Health Department <br />In keeping records for casualty <br />identification, care, evacuation and <br />disposal of the dead. <br /> <br />(ll)ln coordination with DODES, pro- <br />vide records management <br />assistance for damage assessment <br /> <br />(12)Be prepared to receive and dis- <br />burse emergency funds required for <br />the emergency, <br /> <br />(13) Purchase, on a priority basis, <br />needed equipment, supplies and <br />materials requested by the Gover- <br />nor or DODES during the <br />emergency period, <br /> <br />(14)Keep the Governor, Office State <br />Planning and Budget (OSP&B) and <br />DODES advised concerning emer- <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
