<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested <br />by the Board of County Commissioners of Larimer County and by <br />the City of Fort Collins, by Resolution No. 203, adopted January <br />7, 19B3, approved and designated the floodplains described in <br />said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Cooper <br />Creek, Master Drainageway Planning Study," <br />Simons, Li & Associates, Inc., in August, 19B1; <br /> <br />Slough, Boxelder <br />was prepared by <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested <br />by the Board of County Commissioners of Larimer County and by <br />the City of Fort Collins, by Resolution No. 205, adopted January <br />7, 19B3, approved and designated the floodplains described in <br />said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new revised report entitled "Flood Insurance <br />Study, Larimer County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas, Volumes <br />1-3,".. was prepared by the. Federal Emergency Management Agency on <br />March IB, 19B6; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new revised Flood Insurance Study describes <br />and outlines the floodplain data and information for Dry Creek <br />from its confluence with the Cache la Poudre River upstream to <br />the 19B6 eastern corporate limit of the City of Fort Collins and <br />from the 19B6 northern corporate limit of the City of Fort <br />Collins upstream to a point approximately 500 feet downstream of <br />Shields Street in a manner that is consistent with the data and <br />information previously designated by Resolution No. 203; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the floodplain data and information for Cooper <br />Slough and for Boxelder Creek, previously approved and <br />designated by the Colorado Water Conservation Board as detailed <br />information by Resolution No. 205, have been converted by the <br />Federal Emergency Management Agency in said new revised Flood <br />Insurance Study to floodplain delineations by approximate. <br />methods for Boxelder Creek from its confluence with the Cache la <br />Poudre River upstream to a point approximately 100 feet upstream <br />of Willox Lane, and for Cooper Slough from Prospect Street <br />--'------u-ps-t-l;..e.a'm to \Ii ne-Dr-Lva;_and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new revised report entitled "Flood Insurance <br />Study, Larimer county, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas, Volumes <br />1-3," was prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency on <br />March 4, 19B7; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new revised Flood Insurance Study describes <br />and outlines the floodplain data and information for portions of <br />the Fall River, the Big Thompson River, and Black Canyon Creek, <br />as listed in Table 1, attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />-2- <br />
