<br />WHIi:REAS, the Flood Ins\J.rance Study describes and outlines <br />the floodplain data and information for the storm and <br />floodwi:lter runoff channels or basins listed in Table 1 in a <br />manner that is consistent with the previously designated <br />reports listed in Table 1: and <br /> <br />WHIi:REAS, new hydrologic,. topographic, and hydraulic <br />informi:ltion and data have been developed by the Urban Drainage <br />and Flood Control District and the Federal Emerg~ncy Management <br />Agency for certain stream teaches listed in Table 2, attached <br />hereto and by this reference incorporated herein: and <br /> <br />WHIi:REAS, new hydrologic, topographic, and hydraulic <br />information and data were (}eveloped by the Urban Drainage and <br />Flood Control District for Sanderson Gulch in "Flood Hazard <br />Area Delineation, Sanderson Gulch and North Sandlilrson Gulch" in <br />August, 1979, and approved and designated by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board by Resol.ution No. 149 on January 30, 1980: <br />and <br /> <br />WHtREAS, said new information replaced information <br />contained in "Supplementary Report, Flood Hazard Map, Sanderson <br />Gulch and Weir Gulch, DenvElr, Colorado," prepared by the Urban <br />Drainage and Flood Control District in March, 1975, and <br />approVed and designated by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board by Resolution No. 46 On July 9, 1975: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Flood Ins1uance Study describes and outlines <br />the fl.oodplain data and in.formation for Sanderl;on Gulch in a <br />manner that is consistent with the data and information <br />previously designated by Re~olution No. 149: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, that portion of Resolution No.' 46 pertaining to <br />Sanderson Gulch needs to be rescinded; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and Flood ContrOl District, at <br />the rlilquest of certain communities, has previously completed <br />certain floodplain delineation reports within the corporate <br />limits of the City and County of Denver and adjacent <br />communities, as listed in 'rable 3 attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated heretn: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as <br />requested by the Urban Dratnage and Flood Control District and <br />certain communities, by Resolutions listed in said Table 3 <br />approved and designated the floodplains in the reports listed <br />in said Table 3: and . . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the floodplain data and information for stream <br />reaches listed in said Table 3, and previously approved and <br />designated by the Colorado Water Conservation BOard as detailed <br />floodplain information, have been converted by the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency in said Flood Insurance Study to <br />floodplain delineations by approximate methods; and <br /> <br />-2- <br />
