<br />1 set furnished to the OWNER <br />1 set retained by the ENGINEER <br /> <br />Prior to submitting any SHOP DRAWINGS or other required documents <br />for material and equipment approvals and/or substitution <br />approvals to the ENGINEER, the CONTRACTOR shall carefully review <br />such documents to assure that they are compl ete and adequate in <br />every respect. The CONTRACTOR shall endorse each submittal, <br />regardless of source, and shall certify that he has reviewed, <br />checked and approved the documents and it is hi s opi ni on that <br />they are in conformance with the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. <br /> <br />10.11 COSTS. No separate payment wi 11 be made for any of the <br />requi rements of this General Condition and all costs incurred <br />will be considered to be included in the CONTRACT PRICES bid. <br /> <br />GC-11 Suggestions to CONTRACTOR. Any plan of action, method of work or <br />construction procedure suggested to the CONTRACTOR by the ENGINEER, <br />INSPECTOR, or the OWNER or any of their representatives, whether <br />orally or in writing, if adopted or followed by the CONTRACTOR in <br />whole or in part, shall be at the sole risk and responsibility of the <br />CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br />GC-12 Construction Schedule. Unless otherwise directed by the ENGINEER, the <br />CONTRACTOR shall submit to the ENGINEER, prior to commencement of WORK <br />a schedule of all construction operations showing the sequence of WORK <br />and the dates on which each segment of the WORK is expected to be <br />started and completed. Within seven (7) days after the first day of <br />each month, the CONTRACTOR shall submit a summary report of the work <br />completed. If an extension of CONTRACT time, is granted by the <br />ENGINEER for any justifiable reason, the CONTRACTOR shall submit a <br />revi sed constructi on schedul e in accordance with the approved <br />extension. <br /> <br />The construction schedule shall also include: <br /> <br />a. The dates at which special detail drawings will be <br />required; and <br /> <br />b. Respective dates for submission of SHOP DRAWINGS, the <br />beginning of manufacture, the testing and the installation <br />of materials, supplies and equipment. <br /> <br />12.01 LUMP SUM CONTRACTS. To aid not only in scheduling of the WORK <br />but also to establish the basis for progress payments, the <br />CONTRACTOR on a 1 ump sum CONTRACT shall prepare and deli ver to <br />the OWNER, as soon as the CONTRACT has been executed, a schedule <br />which shows the estimated span of time required to complete <br />major elements of the WORK together with a statement of the <br />estimated value of each such element of the WORK. As the WORK <br />progresses, the CONTRACTOR may update this schedule to reflect <br />conditions as these become better known. <br /> <br />IV-12 <br /> <br />(1667-3/90) <br />
