Marchand later called me <br />indicating apprDval by the City Df Loveland. <br /> <br />The crest Df the DverflDw weir is IDwered 7 feet to elevatiDn <br />W17. <br /> <br />The nDrmal pDDl level is set at 6016.5 allDwing 6 inches Df <br />freebDard to be used if required for regulation. <br /> <br />The penstock invert remains at elevatiDn 6009.5 and the tDP of <br />the 36-inch piP8 roughly elevation 6012.5. This prDvides 4 feDt <br />which is ample subm~rgence since the required energy head ct the in- <br />let is less than 2 feet. <br /> <br />The butt8rfly cDntrDl valve is eliminated and shutoff cDntrol <br />at the inlet will be accDmplished by a sliele gate. The gate will be <br />mDtor operat3d with a pushbutton contrDl station on the left bank <br />(highway sido). <br /> <br />A trashrnck will be providaj at the penstDck inlGt, A platfDrm <br />will be prDvided fDr raking.
