The completeness of the reports depends <br />on the size of the flood and how the Corps was involved. <br />Quality of information is variable, especially for flood <br />losses. All reports and files are maintained in district <br />offices. The Washington office only keeps records for <br />major events. Flood-loss estimates are collected from <br />district offices and published in an annual summary, in- <br />cluding estimates of losses prevented. The Federal <br />Disaster Assistance Administration maintains records of <br />USACE activities for major floods. <br /> <br />Printed reports, records, and files are available for review <br />in district offices or for cost of duplication. <br /> <br />AnnuaZ Report of The Chief of Engineers on CiviZ Works <br />Activities, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington, <br />DC.
