All work shall meet or exceed FEMA's requirements for HMGP application. <br />Application information will be provided by the CWCB to the Contractor. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Executive Summary <br />The contractor, in cooperation with the CWCB and Larimer County, shall prepare a written <br />Executive Summary of the Project Report. The format of the Executive Summary shall be <br />prescribed by the CWCB and shall present, in a clear and concise manner, the information <br />required by FEMA to evaluate the HMGP application. The information included in the <br />Executive Summary shall be derived directly from the text of the Project Report itself. <br /> <br />Task 4 - Proposed (Alternative) Solutions: <br />The Contractor shall develop supporting information for at least 3 alternative plans to address <br />flooding problems (alternative plans to be formulated by Larimer County) within the specific <br />mitigation study area of the West Vine Drainage Basin, including benefits, costs advantages and <br />shortcomings of each alternative plan. The supporting information shall be organized according <br />to the three drainageway reaches (Reach 1, Reach 2 and Reach 3) to allow different <br />combinations of altemative mitigation features to be analyzed. The Contractor shall develop a <br />decision procedure for selecting the preferred altemative plan and shall provide a supporting <br />explanation for the choice of the preferred alternative plan. <br /> <br />Task 5 - Description of Proposed Project: <br />The Contractor shall prepare a description of the proposed project (preferred altemative plan) for <br />addressing the flooding problems in the Specific Mitigation Study Area within the West Vine <br />Drainage Basin. In order to describe the proposed project, the Contractor shall list the project <br />objectives and state how the project will reduce or eliminate the risk of future damages; the <br />Contractor shall prepare a preliminary engineering design for the project; the Contractor shall <br /> <br />4 <br />
