As requested by Architect, assist in obtaining from Owner addition.al <br />details or information, when required at the job site for proper <br />execution of the Work. <br /> <br />3. In the interest of preserving the proper channels of communication, <br />advise. Architect of any direct communication between Owner and <br />Contractor. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Shop Drawings and Samples <br /> <br />1. Receive and record date of receipt of Shop Drawings and samples <br />which have been reviewed by Architect. <br /> <br />2. Receive samples which are furnished at the site by Contractor for <br />Architect's review, and notify Architect of their availability for <br />examination. <br /> <br />3. Advise Architect and Contractor or his superintendent immediately <br />of the commencement of any Work requiring a Shop Drawing or sample <br />submission if the submission has not been accepted by Architect. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Review of Work <br /> <br />1. Conduct on-site observations of the Work in progress to assist <br />Architect in determining that the Project is proceeding in ac- <br />cordance with the Contract Documents and the completed Work will <br />conform to the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />2. Report to Architect whenever he believes that any Work is unsat- <br />isfactory, faulty, or defective or does not conform to the Con- <br />tract Documents, or has been damaged, or does not meet the require.. <br />ments of any inspections, tests or approvals required to be made, <br />and advise Architect when he believes Work should be corrected <br />or rejected or should be uncovered for observation, or requires <br />special testing or inspection. <br /> <br />3. Verify that tests, equipment, and system start-ups and operating <br />and maintenance instructions are conducted as required by the <br />Contract Documents and in presence of the required personnel, and <br />that Contractor maintains records thereof; observe, record, and <br />report to Architect appropriate details relative to the test <br />procedures and start-ups. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Accompany Owner and visiting inspectors representing public or <br />other agencies having jurisdiction over the Project, record the <br />outcome of these inspections and report to Architect. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Interpretation of Contract Documents <br /> <br />a. Transmit to Contractor clarification and interpretation of <br />the Contract Documents as issued by Architect. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Hodifications: <br /> <br />a.
