<br />D. Architect's review and acceptance of Shop Drawings Or samples shall <br />not relieve Contractor from responsibility for any deviations from the <br />Contract Documents unless Contractor has in writing called Architect's <br />attention to such deviation at the time of submission and Architect <br />has given written concurrence and acceptance to the specific deviation, <br />nor shall any concurrence or acceptance by Architect relieve Contract.or <br />from responsibility for errorS or omissions in the Shop Drawings. <br /> <br />6.14 INDEflNIFICATION <br /> <br />A. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Contractor shall indemnify and <br />hold harmless Owner and Architect and their agents and employees from <br />and against all claims, damages, losses and expenses including but not <br />limited to attorneys' fees arising out of or resulting from the per- <br />formance of the Work, provided that any such claim, damage, loss Or <br />expense (a) is attributable to bodily injury, sickness, disease or <br />death, or to injury to or destruction of tangible property (other than <br />the Work itself) including the loss of use resulting therefrom and (b) <br />is caused in whole or in part by any negligent act or omission of Con-- <br />tractor, any Subcontractor, anyone directly or indirectly employed by <br />by any of them or anyone for whose acts any of them may be liable, <br />regardless of whether or not it is caused in part by a party indemni- <br />fied hereunder. <br /> <br />B. In any and all claims against Owner or Archi tect Or any of their agent.s <br />or employees by any employee of Contractor, any Subcontractor, anyone <br />directly or indirectly employed by any of them or anyone fOr whose <br />acts any of them may be liable, the indemnification obligation under <br />paragraph 6.14.A shall not be limited in any way by any limitation on <br />the amount or type of damages, compensation Or benefits payable by or <br />for Contractor Or any SUbcontractor under workers' Or workmen's com- <br />pensation acts, diability benefit acts Or other employee benefit acts. <br /> <br />C. The obligations of Contractor under paragraph 6.14.A shall not extend <br />to the liability of Architect, his agents or employees arising out of <br />the preparation or approval of maps, drawings, opinions, reports, sur- <br />veys, Change Orders, designs Or specifications. <br /> <br />PART 7 - WORK BY OTHERS <br /> <br />7.01 <br /> <br />OWNERS RIGHT TO PERFORM <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Owner may perform additional work related to the Project by himself, <br />or have additional work performed by utility service companies. or let <br />other direct contracts therefore which shall contain General Condition:; <br />similar to these. Contractor shall afford the utility service compani.!s <br />and the other contractors who are parties to such direct contracts (or <br />Owner, if Owner is performing the additional work with Owner's employe.!s) <br />reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of materials <br />and equipment and the execution of work, and shall properly connect <br />and coordinate his Work with theirs. <br /> <br />7.02 <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE <br /> <br />A.
