<br />Population forecasts prepare<! in 1990 for Larimer County by the Colorado Division
<br />of Local Government project continued population growth through 2000. These projec-
<br />tions are shown in table 3-2. Similar projections were not available for Fort Collins.
<br />Population projections for Fort Collins were based on the assumption that the population
<br />relationship between the city and county in 1990 would continue in the future, These
<br />projections are also shown in table 3-2.

<br />Fort Collins, Uuimer County, and Colorado have grown rapidly SInce 1970,
<br />although growth rates haveslowcd since 1980. The population and percentage changes
<br />for these three are.'l-,are presented in table 3-1.
