~~

May 4, 1989

Janet Stromberg
Project Manager
Jefferson County Planning Department
18301 W. 10th Ave. '220
Golden, CO 80401

Dear Janet,

Enclosed is a list of concerns identified by the Idledale Water
and Sanitation district. We hope these concerns will be addressed
in the plan.

1. Lack of water in the area as a whole and the area
surrounding Idledale in particular.

2. The fact that small, local districts as ours, are finding it
increasingly difficult to absorb the cost of required improvements
to district facilities and services, when the size of the district
is so small (120 taps).

3. The fear of large commercial/residential development in the
immediate area surrounding Idledale and its impact on the town.

4. Multiple zoning and lack of zoning enforcement within densely
inhabited residential areas.

5. Lack of covenants/codes and the resultant abuse of storage on
property.

6. Lack of enforcement of Jefferson county laws regarding parking
on roadways.

7. Maintenance and safety of roads in the community.

8. Fire protection within the area.

9. Desirability and number of livestock in the residential area.

Thank you for the opportunity to have input on the plan.

Sincerely,

Barb Wyatt
President

BW/lsj
