<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Douglas County, <br />by Resolution No. 290, designated and approved the floodplain information included in said <br />report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District completed a drainageway <br />planning study entitled "Open Space Drainageway Planning, Town of Parker, Colorado", dated <br />April 1996; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report dated April 1996 contains detailed hydrologic information for <br />Jordan Road Tributary which meets the standards of the Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, has not approved and designated <br />the detailed floodplain information included in said report dated April 1996; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a new report <br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Douglas County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas", revised <br />January 5,1996; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report dated January 5, 1996 contains revised floodplain <br />information for the following streams: <br /> <br />Cheny Creek <br />Sulphur Gulch <br />Tallman Gulch <br />Newlin Gulch <br />Jordan Road Tributary <br /> <br />, <br />< <br />, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report contains detailed and approximate floodplain information <br />which revises, on the basis of 1) new topographic information (Newlin Gulch and Cheny <br />Creek), 2) stream realignment and associated channelization (Sulphur Gulch), 3) construction of <br />a diversion channel (Newlin Gulch), 4) new hydraulic and hydrologic analyses (Tallman Gulch), <br />and 5) revised hydraulic analyses (Sulphur Gulch and Cheny Creek), the detailed floodplain <br />information in Resolution No. 164 for the following stream reaches, as listed in Table 1, <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br /> <br />Table 1 <br /> <br />Detailed Information Which Revises Detoiled Information Previously Prel1ared For Douglas <br />County and Desif!nated By Resolution Nos. 68, 164, and 290 <br /> <br />Cherry Creek from the ArapaboelDouglas County line to a point approximateJ.y 2,100 feet above the SlrOb A venue bridge <br />Tal1mao Gulch from its confluence with Talbnan GuJcb Tributary to a point approximately 2,800 feet upstream <br />Sulpbur Gu1cb from Pik<s Peak Road '" a point approximately 1,200 feet downstream <br /> <br />2 <br />
