<br />RESOLUTION
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Anny CoIpS of Engineers, Omaha District, completed a floodplain '
<br />information 'report entitled "Cherry Creek, Cherry Creek Lake to Franktown, Colorado", dated
<br />October 1976; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report contains detailed floodplain information for Cherry Creek; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Douglas County,
<br />by Resolution No. 68, adopted on July 27, 197'7, approved and designated the detailed
<br />, floodplain information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Insurance Administration completed a floodplain information
<br />report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Douglas County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas",
<br />dated March 1980; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report contains detailed floodplain information for the South Platte .
<br />River, Plum Creek, East Plum Creek, West Plum Creek, Indian Creek, Hangman's Gulch,
<br />, Sellars Gulch, \]nnamed tributary to Sellars Gulch, Carpenter Creek,' Happy Canyon Creek,
<br />Baldwin Gulch, Bayou Gulch, Horse Creek, WeSt Creek, Cherry Creek, Sulphur Gulch,
<br />, Tallman Gulch, Newlin Gulch and Jordan Road Tribotary; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Douglas County,
<br />by Resolution No. 164, adopted on September 9, 1980, approved and designated the detailed
<br />floodplain information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain
<br />'. information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study,-Douglas County, Colorado, Unincorporated
<br />Areas", dated September 30, 1987; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report contains detailed and approximate floodplain infonnation for
<br />various streams in the unincorporated portions of Douglas County as of September 30, 1987;
<br />and
