the water problems of the state and I am sure
that many of them will be present from time
to time during this meeting. I would like,
however, to introduce to you at this time
three members of the House of Representatives
who are here now. Mrs. Betty Pellett. Betty,

"The biggest district in the state. May
I say just another word, Ben, concerning the
members of the General Assembly. Our being
here today, obviously, must mean something
or the other, and presumably it means that
when he writes, we respond, because here we
are.u

"Thank you, Bill. We have a long meeting
and we'll get into the agenda forthwith. I'd
like to announce to the members of the Board
that we will convene after the luncheon break
at l:30 at which time Senator Gill and Sena-
tor Rogers and others have indicated a desire
to discuss with the Board our ground water
problems. So we'll plan our agenda break so
that we will be back here promptly at l:30.

I would also like to introduce a return-
ing member of the Legislature from Denver, an
experienced rancher and a gentleman interested
in water problems. Mr. Frank Kemp from Denver.
Glad to have you with us."
