<br />Moving on to Feasibility Investigations, <br />on December 5, 1962, the Secretary of the In- <br />terior received comments from the State of <br />Nevada and the Department of Commerce on the <br />Animas-La Plata project. This project was <br />transmitted to the states and federal agencies <br />under the Flood control Act of 1944. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Review comments on the Dolores Project <br />proposed feasibility report, these are field <br />comments, have been received and the report <br />is being reviewed prior to its submission to <br />our Washington office. Following review by <br />state and federal agencies under the Flood <br />Control Act, the Secretary of the Interior <br />adopted the Fruitland Mesa feasibility report <br />and sent it to the President on November 5, <br />1962. <br /> <br />Now as far as the feasibility investiga- <br />tions on the San Miguel Project, West Divide <br />project, Dallas Divide Project, they are all <br />progressing according to schedule and these <br />reports are scheduled for completion to the <br />extent necessary for the field level review <br />and are scheduled for completion in fiscal <br />1964. <br /> <br />Our field ~ork on the Yellow Jacket proj- <br />ect has been temporarily suspended because of <br />the winter weather. We expect to renew this <br />work as soon as weather is favorable this <br />spring. Work is going along according to <br />schedule there. <br /> <br />we have also initiated our land classifi- <br />cation work on both the Battlement 11esa Proj- <br />ect and the Bluestone Project and are schedul- <br />ing land classification work to start on the <br />Grand Mesa Project this coming spring. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />One other remaining item under the Small <br />Reclan~tion Projects program, the loan fund <br />for the Orchard City Irrigation District for <br />their small pumping plant project amounting to <br />some $270,000 in western Colorado has been <br />
