I will be present, of course, to-
morrow morning with Mr. Barnard of the
River Board, and Mr. Beise representing
the Water Development Association. We
are confident that the postponement can
take place but that is up to Judge Dar-
row, that is his sole decision, but at
least all the litigants to that adjudica-
tion proceedings have agreed that the
matter should be postponed."

"Mr. Chairman in connection with
Mr. Nelson's question concerning funds
to make an investigation of alternate
sites, if the Bureau of Reclamation
does not have funds available for that,
isn't it possible that the Board has
money that can be used for that, and
is it the duty of the Board to make
that decision as to whether it should
be used for that purpose or not?"

"Mr. Peterson I have no idea at
this time. I am confident the Bureau
can come up with some money but I do
know their feeling is this: that the
State of Colorado should contribute
something to this revision."

"The State of Colorado's contribu-
tion can't come out of the Boulder Can-
yon Act, can it?"

"Well now that is a possibility we
haven't explored but we will explore it
immediately."

"Mr. Chairman, I take it these prin-
ciples are principles which have been
agreed upon in trying to solve the Frying-
pan-Arkansas problem."
