graming the types of analyses required to
fulfill the purpose suggested by the Com-
mission.

In behalf of all members of the Com- I
mission, I should like to express my appre-
ciation to the Board, your Director and
the members of the Water Board staff for
the cooperation and support given to the
recommendations of the Commission in
initiating these matters which we all be-
lieve to be so important to the State of
of. Colorado.

Pursuant to Mr. Spark's memorandum
of September 4, 1958, the Commission will
give immediate consideration to the making
of specific recommendations on the power
transmission investigation in connection
with Glen Canyon, Flaming Gorge and the
Curecanti projects. Considerationwill
also be given to the making of recom-
mendations in regard to further West
Slope investigations and to supplement
data already available to the Board
through the Leeds, Hill and Jewett report
of several years ago."

questions to be asked of Mr. Barkley?"

"Mr. Barkley, I'd like to ask, not
as a question but as a statement, I hope
the Commission will take into considera-
tion the Flood Control Act of 1944."

be asked of the Investigation Commission?
I would like to say as I previously stated,
that this Commission has been very active
and has been extremely helpful and I am
sure they will be in the future. Everyone
on this Commission has expressed an inter-
est in our water problems.
