This $325,000 project is the re-construction of the Buffalo Mutual Irrigation Company's
diversion structure and headgate on the Arkansas River in Prowers County 17 miles east of the City
of Lamar. Wright Water Engineers of Denver, Colorado completed project design and preparation
of construction contract documents, The construction contract was awarded to TLM Constructors,
Inc, of Swink, Colorado and construction commenced September 21, 1998, The project is 99%
complete with project documentation and final accounting currently underway, Substantial
completion is scheduled for June 1999,

Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Companv - Summit Reservoir and Ditch Svstem Rehab,

This project is the rehabilitation of the Summit Reservoir Dam outlet works and the tit
construction of repairs and improvements to the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company's water
collection and distribution facilities, The Cortez office of the Natural Resource Conservation
Service prepared the construction plans and specifications, Construction commenced in March by
Noland, Inc, of Mancos, CO, and is currently 75% complete, Construction is scheduled for
completion in June 1999,

Excelsior Irrigating Companv - Excelsior Ditch Rehabilitation

Project Type: Ditch Rehabilitation

This $335,000 project is the re-construction of approximately 2 miles of open ditch, which
has previously been abandoned and farmed over, Also included in the project is the construction of
several pump stations for water delivery, The project is located in Pueblo County 10 miles east of
Pueblo. Project design was prepared by the Pueblo Office of the Natural Resource Conservation a
Service, Ralph Adkins, P,E, of Pueblo, Irrigation Engineering of Alamosa and Hendrooke _
Sprinklers of Ft. Collins, Project construction commenced by the owner and several sub-
contractors in May 1998 with project completion scheduled for July 1999,
