"Mr. Chairman I believe we have a big
selling job to do in the State of Colorado.
It involves millions and millions of dollars
of development and I think this is a part
of the program to get our development under
way, just as much as it would be to appear
before a committee in Congress and I would
like to move that we authorize the expendi-
ture of the necessary funds available for
the production of the film that the Director
has just mentioned and sufficient copies be
made to cover the area required."

"Is there a second to that motion?"

"I second it."

"It has been seconded by Mr. Miller.
Is there any discussion? I would think the
target date should not be the beginning of
the summer, however, rather the earlier in the
spring that would tie in with the centennial.
festivities and before the close of the school
year. I would figure this would have a good
appeal in the schools and the quicker we can
aet it done to tie in with the earlier cele-
bration of the centennial the better off we
would be."

bility for showing this film - do they have
national outlets?"

"Yes, they will hook us up with whatever
outlets - they have them all; I don't know
too much about it but they will put us in
touch with all the outlets. Part of the cost
is for their arranging what they call a TV
franchise."

"I would gather they are going to have
a hard time placing this outside Colorado to
any great extent."

"He said no, that you have quite a
demand for this type of thing, particularly
if it is a beautiful color film."
