We want to get the
story out here in Colorado, as much as we
do nation-wise.

I

There is little conception in Colorado
of our problem, basically there is very
little conception as to how the problems
are handled."

"Will this film have something on the
ground water situation?'

"Yes. It would include, we'are thinking,
a short resume of the ground water situation
with some animation showing your ground water
tables, how thBY can be pumped dry.

We want to make a little historical
synopsis of the State .of Colorado, showing
the water problems, particularly with the
major rivers, the Rio Grande, the Platte,
the Arkansas, the Colorado."

"In 27t minutes you are going to have to
compress it an awful lot."

"Yes, but it can be done. I went through
a number of films, reviewed a number of films,
that this company had produced for national
distribution and they tell terrific stories
in that length of time. As a matter of fact
they do not recommend a film of greater length."

"Would this Board have an opportunity
to review the script before it was actually
produced?"

"The script would be largely written
out of this office which I would turn over
to them, and a committee from this Board.
They would revise the script in accordance
with production requirements."

I
