other words, if we are asking the state to pro-
ceed with this 94 acres of land, that repre-
sents approximately 20% of the land area within
the proposed parks. We need the assurance that
the state will in fact proceed with that funding,
that the Colorado Water Conservation Board will
endorse that funding to proceed in this way
before we can go ahead.

Now here again, the legislature is not in
session, we have not had time to contact all the
legislators, and we have not yet had time to
make contact with the board. We would like to
discuss it with you in more detail before we
proceed further with this.

Now the fifth point is, the City has not
thought in any more than a conceptual way of the
possibility of expanding this proposal on to the
north. In other words, if there are certain
merits in preserving the river valley to the
south of Columbine Valley, are those same merits
in existence to the river valley to the north?
Now to move north to Bowles particularly would
require the concurrence of .Columbine Valley
because there would be some limited flooding to
the golf course. We have not yet had the opportu-
nity to discuss this with representatives of
Columbine Valley, and as you heard their speaker
mention earlier, there may very likely be some
opposition.

Here on that point 'Does the project stop
here, or does it move north?' To move it clear
north to Belleview would require some relation-
ship with the Centennial Turf Club because they
are very actively interested in it. Here again,
the City has not had the opportunity to contact
Centennial Turf Club concerning the proposal.

Now finally, to move the scheme on north to
Oxford w?uld require this same kind of commit-
ment from the Town of Sheridan and the City of
Englewood. We have not talked in any more than
