(2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (I) of this section shall
remain available for the designated purposes until the project is
completed.
SECTION 16. Arkansas valley drainage study - appropriation.
(1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated,
out of any moneys in the Colorado water conservation board construction
fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation
board, for the fiscal vear beginning Julv 1. 2005. the sum of one hundred
thousand dollars ($100,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for
the board to participate in a study of drainage system rehabilitation
projects to provide a plan for improving subsurface drainage facilities for
lower Arkansas river valley drainage districts in cooperation with
Southeast Colorado Resource Conservation & Development, Inc.,
together with other local, state, and federal agencies.
(2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall
remain available for the designated purposes until the project is
completed.
SECTION 17. Continuation of the statewide water supply
initiative - appropriation. (I) In addition to any other appropriation,
there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water
conservation board construction fund not otherwise appropriated, to the
Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal vear belrinning Julv 1.
2005. the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), or so much
thereof as may be necessary, for the board to continue activities
associated with the on-going implementation of the statewide water
