2 aimed at addressing needs within basins and will include analysis of a
3 wide array of in-basin and interbasin processes and concepts.
4 (2) The amounts' appropriated in this section are in addition to
5 amounts appropriated and unexpended previously for the statewide water
6 supply initiative. Under no circumstance shall the amount authorized
7 under this section exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000). The
8 moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall remain
9 available for the designated purposes for two years.
10 SECTION 18. Conservation reserve enhancement program-
11 appropriation. (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is
. 12 hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water
13 conservation board construction fund not otherwise appropriated, to the
14 department of natural resources for allocation to the division of wildlife,
15 for the fiscal vear beginning Julv 1. 2005. the sum of seventy-five
16 thousand dollars ($75,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, to
17 support an FTE to provide technical services as required for the
18 development and implementation of the Colorado conservation reserve
19 enhancement program to improve water quality, reduce water
20 consumption, and advance wildlife habitat in the Republican, Rio
21 Grande, and South Platte river basins.
22 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (I) of this section shall
23 remain available for the designated purposes until they are fully
24 expended.
25 SECTION 19. Restoration offlood response fund balance. The
26 state treasurer shall transfer a total of one hundred fifty thousand dollars
27 ($150,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, from the Wlfeserved.
