<br />" <br />.' <br />eJ I project that will develop modeled snowpack data and mapping to provide <br /> 2 benefits to all water resource planners and managers in Colorado. <br /> 3 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall <br /> 4 remain available for the designated purposes nntil the project is <br /> 5 completed. <br /> 6 SECTION 12. Continuation of the flood hazard mitigation <br /> 7 program - appropriation. (1) In addition to any other appropriation, <br /> 8 there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water <br /> 9 conservation board construction fund not otherwise appropriated, to the <br /> 10 Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal vear beginning Julv 1. <br /> II 2005. the sum of seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000), or so much <br /> 12 thereof as may be necessary, for the board to continue to participate in <br /> 13 planning and engineering services for stream restoration projects as well <br />e 14 as to provide matching funds for partnering with federal and local <br /> 15 agencies in the development of flood mitigation projects. <br /> 16 (2) The amounts appropriated in this section are in addition to <br /> 17 amounts appropriated previously for the flood hazard mitigation program. <br /> 18 The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall remain <br /> 19 available for the designated purposes until the project is completed. <br /> 20 SECTION 13. Floodplain technical services - appropriation. <br /> 21 (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, <br /> 22 out of any moneys in the Colorado water conservation board construction <br /> 23 fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation <br /> 24 board, for the fiscal year beginning Julv 1. 2005. the sum of one hlUldred <br /> 25 seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000), or so much thereof as may be <br /> 26 necessary, for the board to provide floodplain management technical <br />eJ 27 services assisting local governments with high priority flood control <br /> -9- 084 <br />
