eJ I project that will develop modeled snowpack data and mapping to provide
2 benefits to all water resource planners and managers in Colorado.
3 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall
4 remain available for the designated purposes nntil the project is
5 completed.
6 SECTION 12. Continuation of the flood hazard mitigation
7 program - appropriation. (1) In addition to any other appropriation,
8 there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water
9 conservation board construction fund not otherwise appropriated, to the
10 Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal vear beginning Julv 1.
II 2005. the sum of seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000), or so much
12 thereof as may be necessary, for the board to continue to participate in
13 planning and engineering services for stream restoration projects as well
e 14 as to provide matching funds for partnering with federal and local
15 agencies in the development of flood mitigation projects.
16 (2) The amounts appropriated in this section are in addition to
17 amounts appropriated previously for the flood hazard mitigation program.
18 The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall remain
19 available for the designated purposes until the project is completed.
20 SECTION 13. Floodplain technical services - appropriation.
21 (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated,
22 out of any moneys in the Colorado water conservation board construction
23 fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation
24 board, for the fiscal year beginning Julv 1. 2005. the sum of one hlUldred
25 seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000), or so much thereof as may be
26 necessary, for the board to provide floodplain management technical
