(~1 That the committee shall make any recommendations for
legislatIon, including_ but not limited to legIslation continuing the
committee, within sufficient time to comply with the deadlines for interim
committee bills as specified in Joint Rule 24 and shall prepare an outline
of further time and processes which may be necessary to achieve the
committee's study goals. Legislation recommended by the committee
shall be treated as legislation recommended by any other interim
committee for p!llPoses of any introduction deadlines of bill limitations
imposed by the Jomt Rules of the Senate and House of Representatives.

t71 That the committee shall meet no more than six times
beginniiig in July 2005 during the 2005 interim. Each meeting of the
committee shall include' an opportunity for public comment on items
related to the committee's agenda. The first meeting shall be a planning
meeting held in Denver and shall include, but not be limited to,
representatives of the groups known as Action 22, Club 20, and
Progressive 15. One meeting shall be held in each of the four geographic
quadrants of the state. A final meeting to discuss firidings and
recommendations and any recommended legislation shall be held in
Denver and shall include, but not be limited to, agricultural groups,
environmental groups, tourism groups, and mining groups.
