that we move those streams in Larimer county, Clear creek, and Park
County? And I noticed one Pitkin county sandwiched in among the many
in Eagle County. We move those up to the final next time and, that
ongoing discussions will take place on 'a,ll of the streams in Eagle
County?

Duane. have I misinterpreted' that?

I

MR. HELTON: No. 'I think that is right. I forgot to mention that we
did get a call from the Planner for Clear Creek county. Eddy Kochman
and a member of our staff went up and discussed it with some of the
County Commissioners in Clear Creek County. I think the tone of the
meeting was more informational. As far as I know, they have not asked
us not to do anything with these recommendations.

MR. ROBBINS: Duane. before you go, let me just ask you this: Eddie
indicated that he thought they should remain preliminary through the
January meeting. NOW, is it your recommendation that they go to final
at the January meeting?

MR. KROEGER: My question was those that are. I had understood it to
be only those in Eagle County, and this was the question.

MR. HELTON: I think the Division' 5 streams should 'go in as preliminary,
and the other streams will go as final at the January meeting.

MR. SPARKS: When we know there is some controversy, if we cannot re-
solve this in time for the final recommendation, we automatically take
if off of the final list. If we think there are hopes of resolving it,
we just eliminate that from the final list until we have it resolved.
I,f it reaches an impasse. we have to come 'back to the Board and say.
"This is our recommendation." Not all of these' preliminary recommenda-
tions come to you in the form of final recommendations, because we are
still working on them.

MR. KROEGER:
Clear Creek.
liminary list

Duane, I am not sure that I interpreted what you said on
Should this be one of those that is retained in the pre-
for the next meeting and all of Eagle county?

MR. HELTON:
status, with
carried over

I recommend that we move all the preliminaries to final
the exception of Division 5 streams; and they would be
as preliminary.

MR. KROEGER: You have heard the recommendation?

........

MR. VANDEMOER: I so move.

MR. JACKSON: Second.

---

MR. KROEGER: Mr. Vandemoer moved and Mr. Jackson seconds. All in
favor? (Ayes.) Opposed? (NO response.) The motion is carried.

All right. Now we are ready for the list of final recommendations
for minimim streams and lakes.

-32-
