<br />Statewide Issues <br /> <br />. CWCB Board Members Confirmed: The terms of three members were to expire in February: Harold <br />Miskel (Colorado Springs/Arkansas River Basin), Don Schwindt (Cortez/San Juan, San Miguel and Dolores <br />River Basins), and Ray Wright (AlamosalRio Grande Basin). All three were re-appointed by Governor <br />Owens and have been unanimously confirmed by the Senate to serve another three-year term. <br /> <br />TV Dry Legacy Report Response: On March 5,2002, the CWCB staff participated in a Hot Topics <br />luncheon entitled "Colorado's Instream Flow Program: Is There A Need For Change." The Dry Legacy <br />Report and the Gordon Bill were the primary topics of discussion at the luncheon. Dan Merriman and <br />Melinda Kassen were the featured speakers. Please see the attachments to the report for the CWCB staffs <br />draft page-by-page critique of the Dry Legacy Report and amerno from John Woodling and Jay Skinner to <br />Russ George summarizing the Colorado Division of Wildlife's comments on the Dry Legacy Report. <br /> <br />Status of Legislation: Attached is a chart prepared by Brad Lundahl showing the status of bills we and the <br />Colorado Water Congress are following.
