v~v to file, in the office of the State Engineer of Colorado, and in the name of and for The Colorado River Water Con- servation District, maps and statements of said Curecanti Project, in conformity with the applicable statues of the State of Colorado. (2) Upon the completion and filing of such maps and statements, to prepare and to file with the District Court or Courts of the State of Colorado having jurisdiction, statements of claim for all water to be impounded and utilized by or in connection with said Project, praying the entry of conditional decrees therefor as of the date of the commencement of work thereon by survey therefor, and to present testimony and evidence in support thereof. I (3) To collaborate with the Colorado Water Conserva- tion Board and with the United States Bureau of Reclamation in the speedy preparation and submission to Congress of the planning and feasibility reports required by Public Law 485 to be made and submitted in the matter of said Curecanti Project. (4) In all proper ways and by all proper and nec- essary means to make the ma~imum effort to bring about the speedy construction of the Curecanti Project. AND BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that any decrees, conditional or absolute, which may be granted to said Curecanti Project in the name of or for the Colorado River Water Conservation District shall be held by it, as trustee, for the following purposes: 1. As to such decrees for holdover storage and power production, for the primary use and benefit of the States of Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico and Colorado, to serve the purposes and perform the functions assigned to said Cure- canti Project by Public Law 485. 2. As to the use of the water diverted and stored by said Curecanti Project for irrigation and allied purposes, by exchange or otherwise, for the use and benefit of the persons, parties or entities within the Gunnison River Basin who may, under the laws of Colorado, make beneficial use thereof.
