<br />v~v <br /> <br />to file, in the office of the State Engineer of Colorado, <br />and in the name of and for The Colorado River Water Con- <br />servation District, maps and statements of said Curecanti <br />Project, in conformity with the applicable statues of the <br />State of Colorado. <br /> <br />(2) Upon the completion and filing of such maps and <br />statements, to prepare and to file with the District Court <br />or Courts of the State of Colorado having jurisdiction, <br />statements of claim for all water to be impounded and <br />utilized by or in connection with said Project, praying the <br />entry of conditional decrees therefor as of the date of the <br />commencement of work thereon by survey therefor, and to <br />present testimony and evidence in support thereof. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(3) To collaborate with the Colorado Water Conserva- <br />tion Board and with the United States Bureau of Reclamation <br />in the speedy preparation and submission to Congress of <br />the planning and feasibility reports required by Public <br />Law 485 to be made and submitted in the matter of said <br />Curecanti Project. <br /> <br />(4) In all proper ways and by all proper and nec- <br />essary means to make the ma~imum effort to bring about the <br />speedy construction of the Curecanti Project. <br /> <br />AND BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that any <br />decrees, conditional or absolute, which may be granted to <br />said Curecanti Project in the name of or for the Colorado <br />River Water Conservation District shall be held by it, as <br />trustee, for the following purposes: <br /> <br />1. As to such decrees for holdover storage and power <br />production, for the primary use and benefit of the States <br />of Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico and Colorado, to serve the <br />purposes and perform the functions assigned to said Cure- <br />canti Project by Public Law 485. <br /> <br />2. As to the use of the water diverted and stored by <br />said Curecanti Project for irrigation and allied purposes, <br />by exchange or otherwise, for the use and benefit of the <br />persons, parties or entities within the Gunnison River Basin <br />who may, under the laws of Colorado, make beneficial use <br />thereof. <br /> <br />
