The staff of the board has reviewed the revised report prepared by the Corps of Engineers out of the Omaha office. At the request of the local authorities, we sub- mitted this for board action today to approve the revised flood hazard area. As the board knows, the local authorities cannot zone unless this board approves those areas for flood con- trol zoning. This is not a major change in the original resolution that was adopted by the board in 1967. So what we are asked to do here is to revoke the resolution of 1967 and substi- tute in its place a resolution approving the revised flood hazard areas for Sand and Toll .Gate Creeks."
