We are studying now in the north area, index-
ing information, and collecting information
that will help on planning lake use. We are
working from maps, and we have collected data
on chemical analysis. Starting in April, we I
will collect samples on all the lakes that are
over 25 acres and produce some biological
classifications of the lakes that are over 50
acres.

Here again, the purpose of all our pro-
grams is to put together information that will
lead to better management of the ponded water
resources of the State of Colorado.

MR. STAPLETON:

"Thank you very much. I think at this
point we'll be adjourning for lunch. I might
call to your attention that we are having a
luncheon upstairs in the Penthouse floor, at
$4.25, including tax and tip. If you haven't
got your tickets and desire to join us, you
can get them over at the table there. We will
recess until 1:30 then."

The meeting recessed for lunch at 12:05 P.M. and re-
convened at 1:30 P.M. with Vice-Chairman Kroeger presiding.

MR. KROEGER:

"Mr. Stapleton had to leave this afternoon,
and it must create a great deal of confidence
to the meeting and the board here to realize
that I am the one who asked what we voted about
this morning. Item No. 5 is the consideration
of the flood plain information reports."

MR. SPARKS:

"There was previously sent to the board a
memorandum presenting the revised flood hazard
areas for Sand Creek and Toll Gate Creek. After
the floods of 1965, there have been numerous
changes take place in that drainage area:
namely, as a result of considerable development
being undertaken out there - subdivisions, roads,
bridges, and what have you. So it was neces-
sary to prepare a revised report on Sand and
