I have had censiderable centact with Cengressman Bretzman abeut this preject. He is very eager to. try to. secure authorizatien this year. The City ef Aurera is primarily cencerned with this preject because the majer fleed damages will eccur in the City ef Aurera as a result ef fleeds in Sand and Tell Gate Creeks. Altheugh. we nermally think ef '65 as a big fleed year. fleeds eccur with censiderable frequency en Sand and Toll Gate Creeks because ef the tremendous development aleng the lewer reaches. I can recall that ene ef the mest disastreus fleeds in recent years en Tell Gate eccurred in 1958.
