Project Type: Concrete Ditch Lining This $145,000 project is the concrete lining of approximately 7,900 feet of an existing open channel irrigation ditch in Weld County northeast of Greeley. The Greeley Office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service prepared project design. The construction contract was awarded to Pete D&L Contractors, Inc. of Evans, Colorado November 5, 1997. Project construction commenced November 18, 1997 with project completion scheduled for May 1998. This ditch- lining project is currently 99% complete with final project documentation underway. Farmers Independent Ditch Comvanv - Rehabilitation of the Farmers Independent Ditch Authorization: Small Project Loan Account Water Source: South Platte River Terms of Loan: $55,000 @ 3.75% for 30 yrs County: Weld Project Yield: 15,000 ac.ft. Proj ect Type: Pipeline This $75,000 project is the re-construction of approximately 1,000 linear feet of 24-inch diameter concrete pipeline replacing an existing open ditch in poor condition. The project is located in Weld County southwest of Platteville. The Greeley Office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service prepared project design. Project construction commenced by Robb's Repair, Inc. of Evans, Colorado November 10,1997 with project completion scheduled for May 1998. The project is currently 99% complete with final project documentation underway. Town of Morrison - Raw Water Pipeline Rehabilitation Authorization: SB 95-11 15 Water Source: Bear Creek Terms of Loan: $504,000 @ 5% for 30 yrs County: Jefferson Project Yield: 625 ac.ft. Project Type: Pipeline/Grit Chamber This $672,000 project is the construction of a new raw water grit chamber and transmission line replacing a similar functionally obsolete facility in Jefferson County for the Town of Morrison. The project consists of construction of a new concrete grit chamber at the Bear Creek diversion structure and the construction of approximately 900 feet of Ductile Iron and HDPE transmission pipeline along a precarious canyon wall. McLaughlin Water Engineers, Inc. of Denver, CO prepared project design. The project construction contract was awarded to J.R. Walton Construction Co. of Indian Hills, Colorado September 18,1997. Construction commenced October 1, 1997, is currently 95% complete and scheduled for substantial completion June 1, 1998.
