Town of - Raw Water Pioeline <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 94-29 <br />Water Source: Big Thompson River <br />Terms of Loan: $2,500,000 @4% for 30 years <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />County: Larimer <br />Project Yield: 2,200 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Pipeline Construction <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The project includes the replacement of 11 miles of open ditch with a 14-16 inch pipeline <br />from Lonetree Reservoir to the Town of Johnstown's water treatment plant including a booster <br />station at the reservoir and connection facilities at the treatment plant. PRC Environmental <br />Management, Inc. of Denver designed the project. The construction contract was awarded to Hall- <br />Irwin Construction Co. of Greeley and B.T. Construction, Inc. of Broomfield August 6, 1996. <br />Construction commenced in early October 1996 and was completed in June 1997. Project <br />documentation and final accounting is currently underway with substantial completion scheduled in <br />May 1998. <br /> <br />Hawkeve Lateral Ditch Cornoanv - Rehabilitation of the Hawkeve Lateral Ditch <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 97-008 <br />Water Source: Colorado River /Grand Valley Canal <br />Terms of Loan: $143,000 @ 3.75% for 30 yrs <br /> <br />County: Mesa <br />Project Yield: 1,260 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Pipeline <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />This $490,000 project is the construction of approximately 11,750 linear feet of pipeline <br />replacing an existing open concrete ditch in pO<:lr condition. The project is located in Mesa County <br />northeast of Fruita. The Grand Junction Office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service <br />prepared project design. The construction contract was awarded to L & M Construction, Inc. of <br />Grand Junction November 7. 1997 and is scheduled for completion in May 1998. The project is <br />currently 99% complete with final project documentation underway. <br /> <br />Chiooerfield Lane Ditch Comoanv - Chiooerfield Lane Headgate and Pioeline Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: Small Project Loan Account <br />Water Source: Dry Hollow Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $60,000 @ 3.75% for 30 yrs <br /> <br />County: Garfield <br />Project Yield: 220 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Headgate and Pipeline <br /> <br />This $80,000 project is the construction of 10,000 feet of pipeline replacing an existing <br />open ditch in poor condition. The project also consists of reconstruction of the existing inlet <br />structure at the Multa Trina Ditch. The Glenwood Springs office of the Natural Resources <br />Conservation Service prepared project design. Project construction commenced November I, 1997 <br />by the Ditch Company's own forces. Project completion is scheduled for May 1998. The pipeline e <br />project is currently 99% complete with final project documentation underway. <br />
