Recent State Engineer Office inspections indicate that the <br />outlet conduit has rusted through and is functionally obsolete. Rocky Mountain Consultants of <br />Longmont are currently preparing the improvement design with construction scheduled for the year <br />2000. <br /> <br />Consolidated Mutual Water Companv - Fortune Reservoir Dam Construction <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 99-173 <br />Water Source: Clear Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $10,000,000@4.75%for 10 years <br /> <br />County: Jefferson - NW of Arvada <br />Project Yield: 8,869 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: New Dam Construction <br /> <br />This project is the construction of a new 9,000 acre-foot reservoir northwest of Arvada. <br />The project consists of a 105-foot high, zoned earth embankment, Probable Maximum Flood <br />emergency spillway, with a 3~-inch diameter outlet pipe. The Company has contracted with Tuttle- <br />Applegate, Inc. of Denver to prepare the final design drawings and construction contract <br />documents. The plans have been approved by the State Engineer's Office and construction is <br />scheduled to commence in October 1999. <br /> <br />Loveland. Citv of - Green Ridge Glade Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: HB 98-1189 <br />Water Source: Big Thompson River <br />Terms of Loan: $2,000,000 @4.75% for 10 yrs. <br /> <br />County: Larimer <br />Project Yield: 6,000 acre feet <br />Project Type: Dam enlargement <br /> <br />This $19.2 million project is the enlargement of the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir northwest <br />of Loveland. The project consists of raising the crest of the existing dam approximately 60 feet, <br />construction of a new concrete labyrinth weir spillway, and new multi-level intake gate tower outlet <br />structure. The City has contracted with Woodward-Clyde of Denver to prepare the final design and <br />construction contract documents. Environmental studies are currently underway with construction <br />scheduled to commence in early 2001. <br />
