Poudre Dam #6 <br /> <br />Proiect DescriDtion <br /> <br />This project was the construction of a pipeline from the North Poudre Dam #6 outlet pipe, <br />downstream approximately 1,300 lineal feet. The outlet previously released water into an open <br />channel that experienced sloughing embankments encroaching on private lands. The pipeline <br />consisted of a 54-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe buried below a 12 foot wide open channel. <br />Smith Geotechnical, Inc. of Fort Collins prepared the design plans and Zak Dirt, Inc. ofLongmont <br />completed project construction in August 1999. <br /> <br />Proiect Data <br /> <br />Sponsor: North Poudre Irrigation Co. <br /> <br />County: Larimer <br /> <br />River: Cache la Poudre <br /> <br />Terms of Loan: $500,000 @ 4.03% for 20 yrs. <br /> <br />Substantial Completion Date: 8/31/99 <br /> <br />Design Engineer: Smith Geotechnical, Inc. - Fort Collins, Colorado <br /> <br />Construction Contractor: Zak Dirt, Inc. - Longmont, Colorado <br /> <br />Pipe length = 1,300 lineal feet <br />Pipe size and type = 54 inch diameter reinforced concrete <br />Open channel size = 12 wide with 2.5: 1 side slopes <br /> <br />.
