Boyle Engineering, Inc. of Denver has been contracted to <br />complete the project design, which is scheduled for construction for the fall of 1999. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 99-173 County: Logan - SW of Sterling <br />Water Source: South Platte River Project Yield: 23,563 acre feet <br />Terms of Loan: $318,583 @ 3.75% for 30 yrs. Project Type: Diversion Structure Rehab. <br />This $354,000 project is the rehabilitation of the Sterling Ditch #1 diversion and headgate structure on <br />the South Platte River southwest of the City of Sterling. The project consists of a new floor and gate system for <br />approximately 100 lineal feet along the existing structure. The gate will be an Obermeyer Pneumatic Spillway <br />gate, 4.5 feet high. The Company has contracted with Jack Odor, P.E. of GASP to prepare the design and <br />construction contract documents. Construction is scheduled to commence in the fall of 1999. <br /> <br />Pine River Canal Companv - Pine River Canal Rehabilitation at Tunnel Hill <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 99-173 County: La Plata - SE ofIgnacio <br />Water Source: Pine River Project Yield: 71,000 acre feet <br />Terms of Loan: $243,000 @ 3.5% for 20 yrs. Project Type: Canal Rehabilitation <br />This $325,000 project is the rehabilitation of the Pine River Canal at the Tunnel Hill site, located 8 miles <br />southeast of Ignacio. The project consists of replacing a water supply tunnel in poor condition, with <br />approximately 700 lineal feet of 72-inch diameter concrete pipe, bypassing the tunnel completely. The Natural <br />Resources Conservation Service is completing the design plans with construction scheduled to commence in <br />late 1999. <br /> <br />Palisade. Town of - Cottonwood Creek Pipeline Rehabilitation <br />~uthorization: HB 95-1155 County: Mesa - SE of Palisade <br />"ater Source: Cottonwood Creek Project Yield: 2,210 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $750,000 @ 4.0% for 30 years Project Type: Pipeline Replacement <br />This project is the 22,000 linear foot replacement of the Town of Palisades Cottonwood Creek pipeline. <br />The proposed pipeline will be a 12-inch diameter ductile iron pipe from the outlet pipe on Cabin Reservoir to an <br />existing pipe 5,300 feet upstream of the Town's water treatment plant. The 'pipe will be installed along the access <br />road that runs through the narrow rocky canyon of Cottonwood Creek. Del-Mont Consultants, Inc. of Montrose, <br />CO. has completed the design plans with construction scheduled to commence in November 1999. <br /> <br />San Luis Vallev Canal Companv - Diversion Structure Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 97-008 County: Rio Grande - E of Monte Vista <br />Water Source: Rio Grande River Project Yield: 25,000 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $188,000@3.75% for 30 years Project Type: Diversion Structure Rehab. <br />This project is the rehabilitation of the San Luis Valley Canal Company's Rio Grande River diversion <br />structure. The project is located in Rio Grande County, 3 miles east of Monte Vista. The Alamosa office of the <br />Natural Resource Conservation Service has prepared the design plans with the CWCB staff preparing the <br />construction contract documents. Project construction has been re- scheduled to commence in July 2000 and be <br />completed in late 2000. <br /> <br />Riverside Reservoir and Land Companv - Riverside Reservoir Spillwav Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 98-1189 County: Weld- NW of Wiggins <br />Water Source: South Platte River Project Yield: 200 ac.ft. <br />.rms of Loan: $450,000 @ 3.75% for 20 yrs.
