The Riverside Reservoir and Land Company contracted with W.W. <br />Wheeler and Associates of Denver to prepare construction plans and specifications. Recent State Engineer Office inspections indicate that the outlet conduit has rusted <br />through and is functionally obsolete. Rocky Mountain Consultants of Longmont are currently preparing the <br />improvement design with construction scheduled for the year 2000. <br /> <br />Consolidated Mutual Water Comoanv - Fortune Reservoir Dam Construction <br />Authorization: SB 99-173 County: Jefferson'- NW of Arvada <br />Water Source: Clear Creek Project Yield: 8,869 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $10,000,000 @4.75% for 10 years Project Type: New Dam Construction <br />This project is the construction of a new 9,000 acre-foot reservoir northwest of Arvada. The project <br />consists of a 105-foot high, zoned earth embankment, Probable Maximum Flood emergency spillway, with a 30- <br />inch diameter outlet pipe. The Company has contracted with Tuttle-Applegate, Inc. of Denver to prepare the final <br />design drawings and construction contract documents. The plans have been approved by the State Engineer's <br />Office and construction is scheduled to commence in October 1999. <br /> <br />Loveland. City of - Green Ridge Glade Reservoir Rehabilitation <br />Authorization: HB 98-1189 County: Larimer <br />a'ater Source: Big Thompson River Project Yield: 6,000 acre feet <br />Wferms of Loan: $2,000,000 @4.75% for 10 yrs. Project Type: Dam enlargement <br />This $19.2 million project is the enlargement of the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir northwest of Loveland. <br />The project consists of raising the crest of the existing dam approximately 60 feet, construction of a new concrete <br />labyrinth weir spillway, and new muIti-Ievelintake gate tower outlet structure. The City has contracted with <br />Woodward-Clyde of Denver to prepare the final design and construction contract documents. Environmental <br />studies are currently underway with construction scheduled to commence in early 200 I. <br /> <br />. <br />
