In the second Executive Session report given on Tuesday <br />morning, a motion was made by Janice Sheftel that if the 15- Mile Reach case <br />(Case #92CW330) can't be settled promptly, then the Attorney General's <br />Office be directed to proceed to trial. The motion was seconded by Patricia <br />Wells and approved unanimously (10-0). <br /> <br />6a. Floodplain Designations and Approvals <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 5502 - 5899 <br />Action:Items 6(a)(i) through 6(a)(vi) were discussed simultaneously. A motion was made <br />by David Smith that the Board approve and designate detailed and <br />approximate 100-year floodplains in the floodplain resolutions listed in the <br />agenda. The motion was seconded by Patricia Wells and approved <br />unanimously (9-0). A motion was made by David Smith that the Board <br />approve and designate as the approximate 100-year floodplains the Flood <br />Hazard Boundary Maps listed in the agenda. South Suburban Park and Recreation District, Request for Bowles Avenue Underpass <br />Approval <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 5900 - 6200 <br />Tape 2, Start/Stop: 0001 - 0319 <br />Action:A motion was made by Patricia Wells that the Board approve the staff <br />recommendation for the easements for the South Suburban Park and <br />Recreation District for the construction project, and for the discharge of <br />stormwater drainage across CWCB rights-of-way, and for reconstruction of <br />the left bank channel section in the vicinity of Bowles A venue. The motion <br />was seconded by Ray Werner and approved unanimously (8-0). After this <br />action, there was an informal discussion on the South Platte maintenance and <br />cleanup. Feasibility Study Loans - City of Greeley <br />Tape 2, Start/Stop: 0319 - 815 <br />Action:A motion was made by Patricia Wells that the Board accept the staff <br />recommendation to approve a feasibility study loan of up to $22,500 to the <br />City of Greeley for an update of the Twin Lakes Dam feasibility study, and to <br />discuss with the City the repayment of the pro-rated study costs of $18,280 <br />for Twin Lakes Dam in the 1986 contract with the City. The motion was <br />seconded by David Meyring and approved unanimously (9-0). <br /> <br />7b.
