Approval of Minutes <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 0118 - 0169 <br />Action: There were two corrections to the May 1996 minutes: The record should reflect that <br />John Davey was appointed to the Operating Committee, Closed Basin <br />Project, and that there was an error in Agenda item #4 - the word "grand" <br />should have been "grant." A motion was made by Eric Kuhn to approve the <br />minutes with these changes. The motion was seconded by Janice Sheftel and <br />approved unanimously (10-0). <br /> <br />3. Directors' Reports - CWCB, DOW, SEO, AG, EDO, CWR&PDA <br /> <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 0168 - 4088 <br />Action: Reports from CWCB, SEO, AGO, DOW and the Colorado Water Resource <br />and Power Development Authority Director were heard at this time. There <br />was also a presentation from Eddie Kochman from DOW, but this is really <br />part of the item 13e and will be so reflected in that agenda item summary. <br />This was an informational item; no action taken. <br /> <br />4. Next Meeting Dates <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 4088 - 4092 <br />Action: There was one correction to the dates listed in the Agenda: The November <br />meeting will be on the 25th and 26th in Denver. The January 1997 Meeting <br />will be held in conjunction with the Water Congress Annual Meeting in <br />Northglenn, Colorado. It was also announced that a new Vice-Chair will be <br />nominated at the September 1996 meeting in Alamosa, while Eric Kuhn will <br />become the new Chairperson. <br /> <br />5a-c. Executive Session Items Background Briefings and Public Comment <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 4092 - 4806 <br />Action: This was an informational item; no action taken. A motion was made by <br />Janice Sheftel that the Board go into Executive Session. The motion was <br />seconded by Alan Hamel and approved unanimously (9-0). <br /> <br />5d. Report From Executive Session <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 4806 - 5501 <br />Tape 2, Start/Stop: 4556 - 4733 <br />Action: David Harrison and Alan Hamel recused themselves from the Orchard Mesa <br />Check Case.
