These facilities are state facilities and
certainly they are available for the use of the
people within the State of Colorado. We would
very much like to further our activities in the
state where we can be of service. In closing,
to give you'some idea of the magnitude of our -I
dollar volume, in the Experiment Station area
we conduct about $264,000 worth of work a year
in the College of Engineering. Through OWRR,
which Dr. Evans covered thoroughly with you, we
have approximately a couple of hundred thousand
dollars as he cited being used for various types
of water resources research. Then looking at
the other segment, research from all other
sources, and these are sources all of which or
the bulk of which fall outside the State of
Colorado, total research volume for this year
is estimated through the end of June at
$3,080,000. It's down a little from the pre-
vious year. If you can contribute to increasing
it, we'd be glad to work with you.

"At this time, why don't you make the
announcements about lunch and also how people
can get to the Foothills Laboratory."

DR. EVANS:

"Lunch can J:e obtained at the Cafeteria on
the first floor below here, to the south end
of the building. Then there is a dining room
almost directly below us here on the floor
below, which you may use if you wish.

As far as meeting for the afternoon, we
are hoping to get started between 1:30 and 1:45,
it will probably be about 1:45, at the entrance
to the Center. Maps have been distributed. If
you haven't got one, look around and get one or
