I will
not quote from your comments if you do not desire.

'If you will check your files you will
find another letter from me dated August 21,
1961, on this same subject.'

'The committee is expected to meet about
the middle of January. Therefore, 1 should
have your comments as soon as possible.'

Thanks for your cooperation.

Sincerely yours,

Isl IVAL V GOSLIN
Chief Engineer & Secretary
Upper Colo. River Commission'

I

You will please note that the Bureau of
Reclamation is taking official action with
respect to this matter and well they should
because this bill does effect, to a very great
extent, the future of the National Reclamation
Association work in trying to further the recla-
mation program. So the National Reclamation
Association, and 1 know that a great many of
you folks have membership in that Association
and I am sure there is a great interest in it,
has appointed a committee. The member of the
committee, Mr. Ival Goslin, has called upon me
to try to find out the policy of the State of
Colorado.

This Board is the policy making board, as
all of us understand, and I presume that what-
ever position this Board takes upon this matter
will be the official position of Colorado.
