MR. STAPLETON:

"Gil, do you have anything that you want
to add to this report that you made?"

MR. GILDERSLEEVE: "I don't have much to add except to just
emphasize the fact that these studies have to
be completed before the Bureau can make its
supplement to its Site Selection Report. I
feel that everyone along the river should know
just what the reservoirs at these various sites
will do for them before they can really give
a full complete recommendation to the site
selection."

MR. STAPLETON: "When do you anticipate that these reports
will be completed?"

MR. GILDERSLEEVE: "I'll estimate in about thirty days."

MR. STAPLETON: "So we are talking about a meeting probably
in early March."

MR. GILDERSLEEVE: "Sometime around there."

MR. STAPLETON: "Dave, how about you, do you have any com-
ment? I know there are some gentlemen here who
are interested in the project."

MR. MILLER:

" I would like to, Mr. Chairman, say this,
that the Missouri Basin meeting in August of
"61 was devoted to the South Platte River devel-
opment generally. I got the Department of Agri-
culture representatives to give us 100 copies
of the minutes. This is a pretty good evening's
reading. We have a box of them over here and
whoever wishes, if they will pick them up before
they leave or we can pass them out now and I
really would urge those who are interested in
the South Platte as a whole to read this material.
This represents the views of some 20 experts,
including all the Federal agencies and most of
the state agencies, on this problem.

there are representatives here from various areas
in the South platte and I assume they will be
given the opportunity of being heard."
