served ten years as our Assistant District
Engineer in Salt Lake. I am sure the Board can
look forward to many years of continued pleasant
cooperation with Mr. Odell in charge.

week."

"Fine. Well, we hope you will bring him to
the next meeting of the Board. Thank you.

The next order of business is a report
from the South Platte Project Steering Committee.
Why don't you read that, Kuip?"

"This report is in all your folders. It
reads:

'Since the October meeting of the committee
studies have been carried on by the Buxeau of
Reclamation and the staff of this Board which
will furnish the information requested by members
of the committee with regard to potential water
exchanges and areas which might be served at the
Narrows and Hardin reservoir sites.

It is apparent that the studies must be
made on the basis of river flows under present
conditions and under those which will occuz with
future expected development of transmountain
diversions, and with the Colorado-Big Thompson
Project in continued full operation.

Since detailed analyses of daily flows are
required, the studies are not yet completed, and
it is felt that no good purpose would be served
by calling a meeting of the committee until the
facts are fully available for its consideration.
Because the hydrology involved is basic to the
formulation of any plan for development in the
basin, it is not anticipated that the work will
cause undue delay in the completion of the final
