The Contractor, Percision Construction, <br />commenced construction in September of 2000 and has completed the work. Project substantial <br />completion is pending, until the final payment request is received by the Ditch Company. <br /> <br />10. Collins <br />Project Yield: 15,085 30. ft. <br />Project Type: Tunnel Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The existing LaramielPoudre Tuunel is approximately 2 miles in length, diverting water <br />directly from the Laramie River and discharging it Into Poudre River at a point approximately <br />60 miles west of Fort Collins. On May 28, 2oo0~ a 4OQ-ft. section of the tunnel collapsed, <br />'Ieavlng the tunnel inoperable. The proposed proj~t involves the construction of new access <br />roads and staging areas at both ends of the tunnel arid the repair of the failed tunnel area, at an <br />estimated cost of $3,200,000. Rocky Mountain Consultants, Longmont, Colorado, has <br />completed the final design and will be monitoring the project during construction. Robison <br />Construction, Inc., (RCI) the Contractor, commenced construction in December of 2000, and <br />is tentatively scheduled to be complete in the fall' of 2001. The project is currently 50% <br />complete. <br /> <br />II. Riverside Reservoir and Land Comnanv - Diversion Structure Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: HB 00-1419 <br />Water Source: South Platte River <br />Tenns of Loan: $405,000 @4.00"1o for 30 yrs. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />County: Weld - E. of Greeley <br />Project Yieid: 64,000 acre feet <br />Project Type: Diversion Structure <br /> <br />This project is the rehabilitation of the Riverside Reservoir and Land Company's diversion <br />structure on the South Platte River. . The existing s11ucture suffered severe damage in 1998 and <br />again in 1999, when the river cut around the soutl) abutment, nearly establishing a new river <br />channel that bypasses the existing diversion structure entirely. This condition created an <br />emergency $60,000 repair to construct a new diversion dike to redirect the river back towards the <br />existing diversion structure headgate. The Irrigation Company has retained the services of <br />O.A.S.P., out of Fort Morgan, to prepare the fmal design plans and specifications to construct a new <br />concrete diversion structure, utilizing Obenneyer pneumatic gates and a radial flush gate. Boone <br />Excavating, the Contractor, commenced constructii>n in November of 2000 and is tentatively <br />scheduled to he complete by April 1, 2001. : . <br /> <br />12. Julesburl!
