A. That the project include a pump unit
on the South Platte R~ver near Sterling,
Colorado, for the purpose of increasing the
project water supply by approximately 32,000
acre-feet annually.

B. That the project include a pump unit I
or units near or adjacent to the Narrows Reser-
voir, for the purpose of supplying additional
irrigation water to either the Riverside or
Bijou Irrigation Districts. or both, if such
pumping can be economically justified, and if
by November 1, 1964, the board of directors of
these respective districts indicate a desire
that such pump unit or units be included for
study and possible inclusion within the scope
of the Narrows Project.

has brought along his staff to this meeting
and, Larry, at this time, would you please
introduce the members of your professional
staff to the audience?"

"Gentlemen, our Deputy Director and long
time engineer in the water resources field,
Mr. Leonard R. Kuiper. Len, will you stand
up, please? Our Chief Engineer, and I think
the most competent hydrologist living today
~n the State of Colorado, Mr. 'Gil' Gilder-
sleeve. He is not the Gildersleeve of the TV
and radio series, but he is sort of a water
commissioner for the State of Colorado~ Our
Supervising Water Resource Engineer, and again
a man who has spent many, many years on the
South Platte River study, formerly with the
United States Corps of Engineers, Mr. Stanley
Miller. From our western slope office our
Senior Water Resource Engineer, and the man
who works on the Colorado River for us, Mr.
Laren Morrill. From our Denver office our
other Senior Water Resource Engineer who
handles most of our matters on the Arkansas
River, Mr. Fred Boydston. Our Water Resource
Analyst, who is both a graduate engineer and
