That the project include a pump unit <br />on the South Platte R~ver near Sterling, <br />Colorado, for the purpose of increasing the <br />project water supply by approximately 32,000 <br />acre-feet annually. <br /> <br />B. That the project include a pump unit I <br />or units near or adjacent to the Narrows Reser- <br />voir, for the purpose of supplying additional <br />irrigation water to either the Riverside or <br />Bijou Irrigation Districts. or both, if such <br />pumping can be economically justified, and if <br />by November 1, 1964, the board of directors of <br />these respective districts indicate a desire <br />that such pump unit or units be included for <br />study and possible inclusion within the scope <br />of the Narrows Project. <br /> <br />Mr. Chairman, that concludes my report." <br /> <br />"In addition to Mr. Sparks as Director, he <br />has brought along his staff to this meeting <br />and, Larry, at this time, would you please <br />introduce the members of your professional <br />staff to the audience?" <br /> <br />"Gentlemen, our Deputy Director and long <br />time engineer in the water resources field, <br />Mr. Leonard R. From our Denver office our <br />other Senior Water Resource Engineer who <br />handles most of our matters on the Arkansas <br />River, Mr. Fred Boydston.
