Denver Water Board. (We steal people wherever
we can get them.) I think I saw one of our
Associate Water Resource Engineers, who
handles much of our ground water planning
studies, Mr. Carter Hutchinson. Our Board's
attorney, Mr. Ray Moses, one of the leading
authorities in the state of Colorado and
throughout the west in water matters, you
have already met. He represents two clients,
the State of Colorado in water matters and the
University of Colorado in all of their mat-
ters."

of Region 7 of the Bureau of Reclamation, Mr.
H. P. Dugan, to make any comments and his
report and to introduce the members of his

"Thank y :)u, Mr. Chairman. I':: is a pleasure
for us to be here and participate in your
hearings today. Your Director has given a
very comprehensive history and report on the
status of the Narrows Project. The material
that he has presented to you is, of course,
based upon information that is known to us,
much of which was made available by us to your
staff.

The present cost estimates for the alter-
nate sites on the Narrows Project were made by
the Bureau of Reclamation using information
that was collected by the consulting firms
