MR. STAPLETON:

"Thank you, Frank. Are there any ques-
tions from members of the Board as to this
report? well now, as far as our guests are
concerned, one of the reasons we come to
various parts of the state is, first of all,
to get better acquainted with you; and secondly,
because it gives you an opportunity to not only
quiz the members of our staff and members of
the Board who try to guide your water destinies
but also to get first-hand information from the
Bureau people who make these important deci-
sions. So we'd like you to participate if
you care to. If you have any questions about
any project that you are particularly inter-
ested in I can't think of a better man to
answer the question than Mr. Clinton, so if you
have any I'm sure Mr. Clinton would be happy
to answer them. Do you have any questions in
regard to the work of Region 4?

Now I'll turn to Region 7 and ask Mr.
Marvin Greer if he'll make a report for that
Region."

MR. GREER:

"Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Members of the
Board and others, reporting briefly on Region
7 activities we go to the Trinidad Project
first. There our activities have been rather
slow. We are explaining to the water users
the operating principles that we hope they
will operate under when the project is con-
structed. They reaffirmed by resolution the
20,000 acre-foot conservation space that had
been decided on by the Bureau and recommended
to them for the Trinidad Reservoir.

On the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project, as
most of you know we have very little money to
proceed with that at the present moment. We
have, however, prepared aerial specifications
for mapping the Ruedi Reservoir site. We can-
not let this contract, however, until more
