..,v~..,

I

people who attended that, in that both the
Colorado Water Board and the Southwestern
Board attended that meeting with our people
and sat around the table to try to work out
some of the problems that still remained on
that Dolores Project. So with that kind of
help we do get projects going. We don't have
a corner on all the brains in solving some of
these problems and we did have a few knotty
ones there with the Montezuma Valley people
to meet their desires and needs. And I want
to express my appreciation to this Board for
the help you have given us all the way along
on Dolores.

The investigation work on the San Miguel
feasibility report is moving along. Bill
Crabtree hopes to finish that one in F. Y. 64.
It's also a fairly large project. That was done last May
and that review is underway now.

I

The work on feasibility reports on the
Western Slope is moving along; there are
several of them underway - Dallas Creek, West
Divide and Yellow Jacket Projects and we
started this past summer on the Battlement
Mesa and Bluestone Projects. We hope to get
the Grand Mesa going; in fact, I think Bob has
it going now. Again, that one is starting
entirely because of a contribution of funds
by the State of Colorado through this Board.

I think, gentlemen, that winds up the
brief rundown on the report of activities in

/--- --
