The Divide Tunnel access road was completed.
Some excavation work was done in the Divide
Tunnel inlet portal and South Fork Tunnel
outlet portal areas, but was suspended be-
cause of poor weather conditions.

The contractor for Sugar Loaf Dam and
roads had completed 46 percent of the con-
tract with 37.2 percent of the contract time
elapsed. First-stage concreting operations
for the outlet works are essentially finished.
All other concreting operations, except form
building, have been suspended until the ad-
vent of more favorable weather.

The contractor on the major portion of
the County Road No. 104 relocation and im-
provement had completed 92.2 percent of the
contract with 59.4 percent of the contract
time elapsed. Road construction operations
were suspended on December 5, 1966. The
contractor on the Fryingpan River bridge
completed setting prestressed concrete beams,
then suspended operations for the winter.

The contractor for clearing and fencing
at Ruedi Reservoir had completed 61 percent
of the contract with 41.3 percent of the con-
tract time elapsed. Clearing continued inter-
mittently during the report period, but ~n
February 4th, the contractor suspended opera-
tions until the weather improves.

On the Upper Colorado River storage
project, the contractor for construction of
the poncha-Midway section of the Curecanti-
Midway 230-kv. transmission line had com-
pleted 80.4 percent of the contract with 50 I
percent of the contract time elapsed. De-
livery of tower steel was about 85 percent
complete, clearing was about 80 percent com-
plete, and tower steel erection was about
45 percent complete.
