anticipate that upon completion of all of the Storage units this will be raised to somewhere around 135 people. I On September 26th we will open bids for ware- house and shop type buildings at this Operation Center. Moving on to the participating projects, Lemon Dam is well ahead of schedule. The con- tract is now about 85 percent completed. The next i tel<, is the Advance Planning. There is not much change from what I reported to you at the last meeting on the Silt Project. The princi- pal change is that it is now included in the President's budget and accordingly we would have as good a chance as on any other project for getting a new construction start on that project. The Crystal Dam and Powerplant unit of the Curecanti Project - the new development there is that we have commenced drilling on the site for the Crystal Dam. The next item is General Investigations and on this report some of it is repetitious but we have included the last significant action that has been taken on anyone of these investigations. I On the Ruedi and Parshall Projects there is no change from what I reported to you at your last meeting. A reconnaissance report on the Juniper project was completed in July and for- warded to our Commissioner's office. upon its approval it will be sent out to all interested agencies and persons. We have completed an initial draft of the reconnaissance report on the Upper Gunnison Basin Project and it is back in our office now for a few changes on this report. We expect that report to be completed early this fiscal year. Mr. Dugan mentioned briefly our meeting with the Fryingpan-Arkansas prople with reference to a special study that we are making on this Ruedi Project. As you know, this is a cooperative study
